ISOTECH® ISRS Rod Stiffeners are essential components in seismic brace systems for vertical strut assemblies in hanger and trapeze configurations. Required when seismic bracing is attached within 4″ of the rod, the ISRS ensures stability and compliance for hung utilities and equipment, including single-hung pipes and trapeze systems. Each installation must include a minimum of two rod stiffeners, providing added reinforcement against lateral forces. Exceptionally designed to work with opposing rigid braces, ISRS eliminates the need for rod stiffening when two braces are installed at the same angle within 5 degrees of 180° from each other.
